Level 2 (Homebuyers survey)

A level 2 survey (previously known as a homebuyers report) was designed to give buyers clear and concise information about the condition of the property. Level 2 surveys are only suitable for properties that are traditionally built after the year 1900 although it is vital to judge this on a case-by-case basis.

 

Within the level 2 survey you will receive:

  • features of the property and any identified environmental issues

  • summary of condition ratings regarding to the different elements of building and grounds. (clear traffic light system) 

  • description of different elements of the building, their condition and any defects found

  • maintenance tips

  • legal matters that your legal advisor should be aware of

  • hazards which could affect your health and the building itself

  • photographs of building elements and any defects/hazards found. 

 

A valuation and/or drone surveys can be included at an additional cost.

All home surveys include a 30 minute phone call to discuss the report and it's findings.
